ACES Humaniac™ “Cat Castle” (Patent No. US D760,445 S) is a cardboard cat house that provides cats (up to 35lbs) a safe, cozy and secure environment, which helps to minimize the stress of shelter life.  This cardboard cat house has multiple ventilation holes and a “drawbridge” that allows the carrier to be closed off and reopened. Cats may enter or exit the cardboard cat house when it feels comfortable doing so, allowing it to become familiar with its surroundings at its own pace. The attachable “turret” turns into a viewing platform so they see and grow more comfortable with their surroundings.  It also provides a separation point from the main carrier, but one still within its own scent areas. The cardboard construction takes on the cat’s own scent, fostering a sense of home. By providing the cat with options, like hiding, stalking or resting, this cardboard cat house helps promote natural feline behavior quickly. These features help the cat feel safe and secure inside their cardboard cat house, and aids in the transition to their forever home.

When erected as a carrier, this cardboard cat house dimensions are 16″ L x 11 1/2 W x 14″ H (internal dimensions are 16″L x 11 1/2W x 9″H) weight 1lb. When the turret is attached the dimensions are 16″L x 11 1/2W x 18″H weight .45lbs. To convert the Cat Castle into a carrier you need to remove the turret from the top and place it inside the carrier with the high wall against the door opening.
